Ok, so I promised I'd do my g/b/u post, so here it is. I really only have 1 'bad' thing--and it wasn't even a big deal--and no uglies. It seriously went that well.
The Good
Let's just do a countdown:
1. Upgraded to 1st class on our first flight down to Puerto Vallarta. It was only $55/person, so we said why the hell not and just did it. Plus, it allowed us to not have to pay extra for my obviously too heavy bag, all our luggage had a bright hot pink "Priority" tag on it, and to just sit in comfort for the first leg.
2. Resort was fantastic (Dreams Puerto Vallarta). It wasn't too big or too small. We got upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, and we were the only ones from our group on our floor so we didn't get a lot of dropping by from people. The waiters/bartenders would come up to you in the pool or on the beach to see if you needed anything, and the food everywhere was soooo good.
3. Wedding coordinator was amazing. I admittedly was a little nervous a few months ago when I was put with the 3rd coordinator since I put down the deposit, but it all worked out so well. We met with her 2 days before the wedding when we went over all the details we had been emailing about--flowers, food, music, etc. I hadn't made place cards so waiters would know what meal went where (guests chose between 2 meal options), so she just found something and that herself (I had put together a sitting chart). I gave her my programs, fans, starfish to put on dinner tables, and personalized napkins for the cocktail hour too. She took care of everything.
4. The flowers were AMAZING. They definitely cost a lot (I ordered upgraded flowers so I could have peonies--my favorite--and orchids--something tropical), but were well worth it. I loved my bouquet so much, and it smelled soooo good. The housekeeper for my room put it in ice bucket with water (no ice, obviously) so they'd stay nice looking the rest of the week. They looked almost as fresh as the wedding day 3 days later when we left. They also made some rose petals look like actual flowers--kind of like orchids--for the cake.
5. I had my bridesmaids pick their own dresses--I just gave them a direction of 'bright, tropical colors and no patterns". This worked out even better than I'd hoped. They all loved the dress they chose for themselves, looked great, they all had a different color (which is what I hoped would happen--I even guessed right what colors I thought each would pick), and I think they would all wear the dress again, which was the main idea. They also all loved the sterling silver starfish necklaces and the really large pink and white striped tote bags I gave them for their gifts.
6. A totally unexpected but totally awesome thing we took advantage of was that another wedding was going on at the complete opposite side of the resort (and beach--the resort had a 'private' beach based purely on that it was situated in a cove between 2 big rock cliffs), but they had paid for fireworks. We were at our bonfire (and I was in my bonfire/reception white maxi dress from Victoria's Secret that had my turqoise and white striped swimsuit underneath), and our photographeer grabbed us to take some awesome fireworks pics. They're some of my favorite pics taken.
The Bad
There's really only 1 or 2 days that didn't go as planned but really weren't a big deal. For one, the wedding day was probably the hottest and most humid day of the week. I knew it was going to be hot so I was prepared for that. I was not, however, prepared to overheat and suddenly puke during dinner. All throughout the cocktail hour and the beginning of dinner I just didn't have an appetite--at all--but I was kind of forcing myself to eat a little so I wouldn't pass out (I can get hypoglycemic/low blood sugar and pass out if I don't eat). Right after the main course was served to us, I told Matt I needed to go to the bathroom and fast. Followed by 5 seconds later I said I wasn't going to make it, quickly turned my head away and behind us (we were at a sweethearts table facing the other tables), tried to catch the barf and threw up on the ground. I had puke on my hands and face a little and a tiny bit on the neckline of my dress. Matt got help quickly (amazingly no one had actually seen this go down), I was rushed to a bathroom to clean up, my sister ran to her room to get my some Pepto and a toothbrush, and the mess was cleaned up. My SIL (a doctor) then came and put a cold wet towel on my back, which felt like the best thing in the world at the time. When I came back I just said "it's not a party until someone pukes" and carried on. There were guests that had no idea what happened even the next day when I told them, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Just kind of gross and not something you really want to happen to you on your wedding day.
The other thing that didn't happen was that we ended up not dancing to our first dance song. After my puking incident (which set us back a little with pictures), we went down to the beach for sunset pictures. While we were down there we missed our song playing (we didn't tell anyone what the song was since we didn't want a whole production--we were just going to get up and start dancing when it came on). We then were going to do it at the bonfire, but we were waiting for the fireworks to go off so we could get pictures in (which went off a 1/2 hour late). By the time the fireworks ended, it was time to pack up the sound system (music has to be shut down on the beach by 10:30). So we didn't dance. The next night, however, there was a cover band playing at the main bar everyone hung out at, and they ended up playing "Stand By Me." We were the only ones dancing, but it was cute.
Ugly
Nothing. Seriously, the bad was the ugliest and they weren't a big deal.
Pictures!!

Good pics of flowers and dress colors

Fireworks at bonfire!

Just married!

Sunset dip. Also, the cover of our soon-to-be photo book.

Another great sunset pic

The cake! Was special-ordered too because I had to have a red velvet cake. Those are just rose petals, not actual flowers.
