Happy Wednesday! What's on the agenda for working out/eating today?

I did a short three mile run this morning and my knee tightened up towards the end, but much better than before. Followed up with my strengthening exercises. Getting there!!

Yesterday, I had a salad for breakfast, turkey sandwich for lunch with POP chips and chicken nuggets and fries for dinner with a Mountain Dew. 

What food is your biggest downfall? I have such a hard time with soda, but getting better. I've taught myself (for some reason) that I'll "reward" myself with it after a hard day. Ugh.

  • Glad to see you made 3 miles! Soda is my biggest downfall too. I drink water all day but reward myself with about 4-5oz for dinner. I feel like I have to have it and if I don't I get a headache! Yesterday was Fat Tuesday at work. Considering what was here, I did pretty good! Breakfast~ bagel w butter and a beignet Lunch~ few chips w some bean type of dip and a bunch of fruit-melon, cantaloupe, pineapple, grapes. 3 pieces of cheese w 3 crackers. Snack~ beignet....they were so good Dinner~ salad w chicken I walked for 1 hour during work. No gym, I actually took sleeping pills and went to bed early! Now I'm being drug tested today at work....lol. I'm sure the sleeping pills are ok, they are just like benedryl

  • I wanted to check in and say I'm still trying to eat right! School and work has stopped me from working out most days.  Which really stinks because I miss it.  =(

    Jenn- It would be your luck to take sleeping pills and have a drug test the next day, lol.

    I didn't eat too bad yesterday except the pop tarts.  I haven't had them in soooo long and when FI found them on sale at the grocery store, I couldn't say no.  We haven't been back to the gym in a while.  I doubt that we are going today since FI announce he is wearing his last pair of clean socks and we have to do laundry tonight!!

  • I'm eating Paleo and went to the gym 2 days in a row. YAY! Plan on going to the gym again tonight.

  • Hi All ~

    The thing that I can't resist is Peanut Butter...I love it!  I really try to portion control when eating it.  You would be surprised how far just one tbsp can go!

    B - English muffin with PB (haha!)
    L - Salad with veggies and left over london broil
    D - Salmon, brown rice and broccoli

    WO - meeting my friend at the gym for body pump/combat tonight!

  • Jenn – Funny about the sleeping pills, hope it goes well!

    Cathy – I know what you mean about pop tarts, I used to survive on those and Mellow Yellow in college. Ha. What flavor? I was hooked on strawberry.

    Kimmy – I’ve had the beef stew from one of the Paleo websites you posted on our menu for a few weeks but it keeps getting pushed – I will make it one of these days!

  • I loooove blueberry pop tarts. I used to eat one for breakfast everyday. I quit about a year ago.
