accountability

Happy Tuesday! What's on your agenda to work out/eat today? How are you meeting your fitness goals? Good progress?

Today I did a five mile run and did some arm workouts afterwards. I am up to being able to do 36 push ups! When I first started doing them, I could only do like 15 if I was lucky. I want to try the 100 Push Up challenge! Has anyone done it?? 

Yesterday I had salad for breakfast, leftover Mexican for lunch and dinner was this Tex Mex Steak and Rice Bowl that turned out really good and was quick to make. Here's the recipe on my blog (<-- clicky) if you're interested!

  • The last few days have been bad for me.. I've been telling myself I'm going to work out and then just end up not doing it... I'm not sure why.

    yesterday was a bad eating day... but I'm back at it today.. I had a shake for breakfast, and I have tuna and an apple for lunch.  We are planning on having turkey burgers and asparagus for dinner.

    I have water aerobics today so i'm hoping that will jump start my motivation again.

    My eating is the same. Still doing South Beach but not really loosing anymore. I'm ok with that because I did hit my goal and have stayed at it. My last workout was a long one on Friday but I just don't feel like going anymore. I have 5 days before we leave and i can't be bothered.

  • FI and I are working on portion control and cooking healthier.  Not sure what to eat tonight though but I will get in a work out now that I've signed up to the gym located right in my apt building...there is no excuse for me not to go work out lol!

    Jenn- your work out routine can be packing! lol!

    Jen, I totally go through times like that too!  You will get back on track in no time!

    Lora - That is awesome about the push up challenge!  I might give that a try!  I think that I can do about 8-10 now.  (I'll give you an update with my 'true' starting # tomorrow!)  Do you do them every morning?

    Today's Plan:
    B-oates w berries
    L - salad with leftover grilled flank steak and apple
    D - turkey burgers and veggies
    S - orange and cheese stick
    WO - Spinning at lunchtime.

    I went to the gym last night. Then I was bad and had sushi and frozen yogurt. Now I'm back to Paleo.

  • eatings going well!! Started to use my fitness pal to track calories and it's helpful.

    Now to find motivation to go to the gym....
