I'm so glad it's Friday. I need a few days away from work. Plus, I have my first dress fitting this weekend. I'm excited to try on my dress and see how much bigger it is on me!

What does everyone have going on today?

I've got work until 3. YAY to getting off early! Then I'm going shopping for groceries and to pick up some things for the yard.

What do you all have going on this weekend? Any wedding related activities?

Happy Friday!!! I am working my normal shift until 7pm today and then tonight I get to do lots of homework... woo!  Then tomorrow working 9-7.  Sunday though is my bridal shower that FI's sister (the one I get along with) and my sisters are throwing and I am super excited!!!! She has been putting a lot of work into it and I can't wait to see how it all turns out!  Otherwise this weekend is all school related and my finals are monday and then I am free!

YAY it's friday!  and my work day is almost over....  I've been waiting all week for the weekend...LOL

I'm planning on working on a bunch of wedding things this weekend...  We are picking up FIs wedding band tomorrow and going shopping for the gifts for our maids and groomsmen and I have a long list of DIY projects that need to be completed.  Crossing my fingers they all get done...

I wanted to have everything done my the end of the month since every weekend in June is already busy with something!

WR for the weekend--going to register this weekend so that's exciting. Also going to stop by Michaels and pick up some stuff to do some mock-up centerpieces for the AHR. I am NOT crafty at all (I failed scissors control in Kindergarden and it's been downhill ever since) so this will be an adventure!

Hello ladies. I watched FIs niece and nephew last night and took them to school and daycare this morning. God bless you parents that have to do this daily haha!

I am hoping to work on the invites some more. Nothing too exciting over here as per usual.

Just got home from work and going to hit the books all weekend (with a little break to celebrate a friends bday).  No wedding related projects on deck until next week, but I am so glad its Friday and I am home in my jammies!

I'm late....but Kimmy was at a meeting!!! That's my guess!! Kimmy I can't wait to hear about your fitting. Sam I can't wait to hear about your shower! Jen post a pic of the ring! Harr0610, love the scissor failing reference. I couldn't hold scissors the right way to save my life. I still catch myself doing holding them the wrong way. Nicole I am anxiously waiting for my sister to get married and have a baby! I can't wait fir sleepovers BUT, it will only be with 1! Mrs Jones have fun at your little celebration break! I got my hair highlighted today. It did not come out like the picture I showed her just as it didn't last year. I love my hair stylist and have been going to her for about 15 years but I think she does my hair as if it was on her head or what she would like. I do like the color but I really wanted it like the picture! I went to breakfast today with my XSIL. I wanted to tell her about the wedding but another friend came along. I know my XSIL will keep the secret and I feel I need to tell her in person. We are very close and I still refer to her as my SIL. I know she will be happy but a part of her will be sad there will never be a chance for me and my XH to get back together. I just feel I need to tell her out of respect. All my other friends, who are also friends with her, I will just call or send a text. What would you ladies do? I went for dinner tonight with my sister, her FI, my dad and stepmom. It was for my sisters bday 2 weeks ago but she was in Disney. I gave her the barefoot sandals I bought her and she loved them. She never saw or heard of them before either. This is why I love this board!! FI came home tonight and brought me back a T-shirt that says "NAVY WIFE". I'll take it to Hawaii with me!!

Jenn -- I think if your gut is telling you to tell her in person, I would tell her in person. It sounds like she is still a close friend.

We went out for happy hour and then went out for Thai food. I am STUFFED. It seemed like for the first few weeks I quit eating gluten-free, I was starving!!

Tomorrow we are going out for Cinco de Mayo and Sunday I am planning to work on shell bouquets. I also want to reach out to the DJ that our resort recommended for pricing. Let's hope it's not a lot!!

Lora I never had Thai food. I'm not sure if there is even a Thai restaurant around here. Good luck with the DJ, hope you get a good deal.

Really?! I love pad thai!! It's so good. I always ask it for a little bit spicy even though I can't handle it. Haha.

thanks Jenn!  you should definitely try and tell your SIL in person.  Since the two of you are still really close, I am sure she will feel honored that you wanted to tell her :-)

I LOVE pad thai too!!! I actually make it at home now as well. FI loves it!
