I know you may think this is a good idea, but as a bride who this was proposed to as an idea for my bach party, I want to advise against this.

It's not that I am a prude and think this is too racy (quite the contrary for me, LOL).  The reason I am not a fan of this (or Pampered Chef or any type of consultant type party) for a bachelorette party is it places a pressure for your girls/add'l guests to buy something.  These consultants can't afford to do these parties for free, and sex toy parties can be pricey in terms of the cost of the toys.  With the economy being the way it is these days, many girls may not have that kind of money, but may not feel comfortable saying so to someone else. 

Also, every b-party that I have been to, I have been invited and not had to put out the cost myself.  Since the maid of honor(s) put it on for the bride and her bridal party/close friends, it's often expected that guests not have to pay for much.  If they are expected to buy a gift, they may not be happy with that.

If you think your bride may like this, awesome.  But I would have each of your girls talk to her, and make sure that the pressure to buy isn't implied.  Not only that, but you should also let the consultatnt know that the possibility exists that they may not sell anything.  I think your enthusiasum to find something fun is awesome, and I am sure you are going to plan an awesome party.  I just want to make sure you analyze this idea for every aspect, as some people may not be comfortable with the idea of being pressured to buy.  If you need other ideas for a "sexy" party, the girls on here could help you with that, no problem!

I tend to agree with the pp.  I would shoot my sister if she did that.  I've been to one of those "tupperware" parties and was bored out of my mind.  That and a little creeped out by some of the other ladies there.  I don't want to know what others want in their bedroom and my husband will be the only one to know what I want in ours.  Really, do you have to tell me you bought the battery operated panties!?
Maybe you could pick up a few "party favors" for the party guests.  Have a dinner before going out and get one of those silly sexy games they sell at Spencers or Adult World or one of the kinky stores in New Hope to kick the evening off instead of having everyone listen to a sales pitch.
For a friend of mine they did a dinner then the groom's mom as dd drove them to a lingerie store and then they partied it up somewhere.  fortunately the groom's mom was not like any other mom I know.
