Invite question

I know a lot of you ladies have officiants that come with your packages, but I need advise so hypothetical or not I don't care.

Our officiant is a local to the area and we are having a rehearsal the day before.  On our invites I am have asked if people are coming the the rehearsal/welcome dinner as well.  Rehearsal is actually at 4:30, and we told people to come for the welcome dinner at 5:30.  Should I send an invite to our officiant so I know if she is going to stay and have dinner with us?  Or just ask her the day of?  Either way she is more the welcome to stay and have dinner with us, but if I send an invite to her and her husband maybe she would feel more welcome?  So anyways, what would you all do?

I would probably call or email her ahead of time, but not send an invite. That way she can plan for it and you can find out if she plans to attend.

I probably wouldn't send an invite.  Just mention to her next time you are talking or via email.
