It'd be about an 8 1/2 hour trip for me.  Just putting that out there.  What about some place in IA?  Would that be about a half way point?????

Um, let me check. Yeah, I think Iowa could work for me!   St. Louis is a little over 6 hours away according to google maps.

I live in Ankeny, just North of Des Moines.  Jen, where in WI are you? 

Any ideas of when or what to do?? The weekends in July are pretty busy for me, unfortunately.

I'm in St Louis, but I'm from Ankeny, IA and my family still lives there. I'm actually driving through Iowa and Minnesota on my way to northern WI in mid-August. I will throw it out there that there's a couple of big bridal shows coming up in St Louis in the next few weeks.

I live in central WI, a town called Marshfield.  I'm pretty much 2 hrs from Madison, Green Bay...so right in the center. 
I so would love to go to St. Louis to see those bridal shows...but unfortunately don't have too much cash.
I was thinking sometime in August because July is pretty booked for me.  What weekends look best?
