Wedding Planner for Destination Wedding

I have searched and searched for the answer to my question, but alas I can not seem to find it.

My problem:

My fiance, David, and I want to get married at Lambeau Field. For those who do not know, that is the Green Bay Packers Field. He is a HUGE Packers fan and I thought that it would be nice if we got married there. We live in New Mexico, and I wasn't sure where I should hire my planner from. Please Please Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome and congrats!! Personally I would hire someone from the Green Bay area. You would want someone familiar with the vendors you will hire in that area. Someone from New Mexico wouldn't know anything about photographers, florists, etc in the GB area (perhaps the field itself has someone if this is done often). I'm getting married in Hawaii and I'm having someone from Waikiki hire all my venders. Maybe try a local board in the GB area to some suggestions for planners for you. You can then call them and get a feel as to who is a better fit for you and your FI. Good luck and keep us posted, sounds like such a fun wedding.

Welcome and congrats!! I am actually from WI, about an hour from GB. I second using someone who is local or finding someone who has worked with the Packers before. Maybe try calling Lambeau's events office and learning the details and if they have any recommndations of who to work with? Also, the local board is a great place to get information from people in the area. 

I do hope you stick around as you plan your DW!! Definitely want to hear how it plays out
