Ok, so being a woman, and reserving the right to change my mind, I think I have changed my mind about the next few months....
You see, as shown in my signature, I was planning on retiring, on Nov 1st of this year. I have been building a business and am making enough money that I could feesibly do so at this time. I HATE my current employement and want out of there SO bad....
Today I realized that a position opened up that I am considering applying for instead. Its a reception/administration position at my church. The pay is only slightly below what I make now, and the commute is like half the distance. Its only a weekday 9-5 job, which I don't have right now, and even better, no weekends...
I think if I can get a job that I would actually enjoy like this, rather than the drama filled, stressful, politics and carry on at my current job, I wouldn't mind working a little longer, and that would help put more money aside for the wedding, honeymoon, house, etc.
Here is where I need help.... you see I did 6 years in the army, and then moved into a position where a friend referred me and changed up my resume before handing it in, so its been EONS since I last had to think about resumes/cover letters. Anyone have hints/pointers/suggestions/anything that might help me out with this?
I am planning on getting it all done this weekend so I can submit it on Sunday in person while we're there.
