WW anyone?

Hey ladies, So I mentioned this a little while back and a few of you said you'd be interested so I thought I'd throw it out there again, I recently joined weight watchers and was thinking it would be helpful to have the support of any of you also on the plan, or who are thinking of it... I know I'm getting frustrated myself because I feel like I'm not losing anything yet I know I cheated hard core while I was in Mexico. I'm hoping with you guys, that we could share what's working for us and our tricks and triumphs and hopefully be successful together. All of you have been so supportive throughout this process so far, why not take it a step further? I have 4 months tomorrow till my first dress fitting and want to lose a min of 40 lbs. It may be unrealistic but I have to try... I'm outta control lol. Let me know if your in, maybe we could figure this out together! :)

    Count me in!

I am actually doing a cleans right now, tomorrow is my last day of that.  But generally I try follow the weight watchers plan as part of my everyday life!  I feel like it just keeps me on track and really makes me think about if I really want/need something before I put it in my mouth!

I am not all that consistent with going to meetings, but I do weigh in at home to make sure I am staying on track.  But maybe this will help get me a little more motivated to stick with that program and get to weekly meetings to weigh in on a regular basis!

  • Excellent Trudy! I'm hoping the same thing... What is this cleanse youre doing? You'll have to let me know how it works... I think I could use something like that. I did one a while back and lost like 4 lbs and felt great starting a new eating regimen. The brand I had isn't around anymore but I'd love to find something that works!

It is Isagenix.  A friend of mine was selling it a fwe years back so I gave it a try. It is a 9-day cleanse - that consists of cleanse days (fruity iced tes tasting liquid) that you drink 4 times a day and shake days (2 meal replacement shakes and a healthy dinner).  It is not too hard to get through and I find it to a be a good way to get back healthy habits (cuts out snacking, caffeine, etc..)  I am done on Friday, so I can let you know what the final results are.

Do you ww online or go to meetings?

  • I'd be happy to join in! I'm currently doing Weight Watchers online as well. I've tried going to the meetings, but after work that is usually the last thing I want to do so I switched and am so glad!

I just finished my first week and lost 4.6 lbs! (: Very happy, but it is definitely hard and I could use support as well!

    Have you done it before?

  • Trudy definitely let me know about your results when it's over! I've been trying to go to the meetings, I was going Monday morning but will probably need to go tues for a few weeks. I really fell of with my last vacation. But I've been back since the 9th and need to regain control. I think what was most discouraging was that I didn't have a great loss my first week. I've done this before and always had great results the first weigh in. This time it was 1.6 lbs I think. I did start watching what I ate for a little before I joined so maybe i sabotaged my first weigh in lol. (that's what I'm telling myself) lol. Is there a day you ladies want to check in with each other, and easier on here or through email/ or fb message?

  • I've totally done that before. Started a diet and my first weigh in was not as large of a loss as I thought it would be...

Don't get discouraged! You have 4 months! At just 5 lbs a month you'd still lose 20 lbs! That's AWESOME! (: It'll be easy with help and support from people going through the same thing to at least lose that much!

I just keep thinking of it that way. 5 lbs a month at least. It's helping! (:

I have been doing WW for a few years now and swear by it. The key is being super strict with the points. As long as you stay within your allowed points everyday you will lose weight. It is a great diet to live by because it is not hard once you get adjusted. It is something you can do for life. I still want to lose more before the wedding so we shall see !

My first time on WW and I have lost 62 lbs. so far (little over a year). Track and be honest. It's hard, as in learning how to eat correctly, what correct portion size is and breaking bad habits, but the program itself is easy.

I wish I would have done this sooner, but maybe I wasn't ready. Love the program and would recommend it to anyone thinking about it.
