9 days til we leave and I'm a little anxious!

I feel like I'm getting irritated really fast these past couple of days, I'm just so ready to go but I feel like I'm on edge! I need to not be at work I think!

I was the same way!  I swear if one more person asked me if I was ready or nervous I was going to punch them lol!!  Hopefully these next 9 days fly by and you can keep you sanity, but time needs to slow back down once you get there

I'm working up until we leave! I have this week and luckily Monday is Memorial day so I'm off, but I'm working Tuesday and then we leave at 3:30am on Wednesday to head to the airport. I'm in charge of hiring at my work and I have a QC Supervisor position open. So I guess this guy applied on 5/19/2010, we have a brand new website that just went live last week, so there is a bug being worked out and the applications online are not coming to me, they are going to the administrator of the website and are being forwarded to me, so this application didn't come to me and I told him that when he called, so I nicely asked him to email it directly to me and in his email he states "I sent these same documents to you on 5/19/2010 at 11:57pm and the website displayed a message "message received" indicating everything was fine. Are you serious.... did you really say that to me! #1, I told you why I didn't receive it and #2, way to be an arse to the person who decides if you get an interview! See, this is what I mean, I'm on edge and NEED TO LEAVE!

Oh man! That's crazy! We just launcehd our new website on Thursday and luckily haven't had any problems! Just remember, breathe in, breathe out and you're almost done! It's your last Monday at work! Hooray!

Ouch to having to work right up to the wedding!  And, WTF to that guy--do people not understand that first impressions, whether they be by email or in person, make a huge difference?  FInally, I second Bethie on multiple glasses of wine.  That always helps with everything.

Anyhoo, try try try to enjoy this time.  Trust me it flies by and then you will miss it when it is gone..is it possible you are also PMS'ing it?  That added  to my stress..

I'm reading this and wondering if I'm just always a biznach at work because that kind of attitude that you got handed just sets me off no matter if I have wedding brain or not...lol  Or it could just be my job and that is why my wine rack is so sad & empty..lol

I am a little over 3 wk out and feel like I cannot concentrate at work, I can't even imagine how you are feeling!  You'll def need lots of wine on Tuesday
And that guy sounds like a butthole, don't give him an interview! Jerk!

It's okay, I almost killed someone at work before I left.  We left on Saturday and only had Friday to do EVERYTHING (including the legal ceremony).  One partner left on Wednesday afternoon to go to a deposition out of town and was telling me that "something had to be done" in the next day or so because he wasn't going to be there - it took all of me not to look at him and scream "Neither am I because I will be at my freaking WEDDING!!!"  This is the same partner that on freaking Monday afternoon told me for the first time that I had to get a document production done before I left - um, seriously?  7 hours and 1am later,  I was done! (This guy is normally pretty normal, but he seemed to forget where I was going for 2 weeks!)

Wow - Sorry for hijacking your post - I'm obviously still a little bitter!

Oh jeez. I thought it was just me. I have had several meltdowns and am ready to pounce on the next person that looks at me wrong.
