B-Party Etiquette Question

Hi ladies!!

So I have a quick question about b-party etiquette. My best friend has already offered to plan it (we are thinking next summer, but she is like me and likes to plan early..lol). She wanted me to send her a list of my closest friends that I want there.  My questions is: do I need to invite all of the SO of my FI's friends? Or can it just be my close friends?

Cheers, and thanks in advance!

Re: B-Party Etiquette Question

  • I only invited my friends and not the SO's of DH's guy friends, but if you do hang out with any of them, you can invite them too.  It's up to you really.  I would have invited DH's sister and Mom though if they lived in town.

  • That is what I thought too. I spend quite a bit of time with one of the So's, but the other I don't really want there as we don't get a long. Fi's family lives out of town too, which would make it difficult to invite them.

    Thanks!!

  • I only invited people that I felt close to.  It was mostly my friends and FI's sister, cousins and the girlfriends/wives of FIs friends that we hang out with all the time and that were coming to the wedding.

I say invite who you would feel comfortable hanging around with that night :)

  • Thanks Jen! I think I will just send my best friend the list excluding the other SO.
