Re: Teeth whitening

• I just went to the dentist and asked and just as the other girls suggested the dentist suggested the 50 bucks Crest stripes and I have already seen a difference. Remember you dont want too white.. she said no whiter than the white of your eyes.
• Hmmm, does it matter which ones? I see like 10 kinds... premium, advanced, dental, supreme, pro effects, advanced vivid...

• I've used the Crest Whitestrips before and have had good results.  I actually need to use them for my B-pics this weekend so thanks for reminding me.  My teeth get very sensitive with them though, so my dental hygenist rec I use a flouride mouthwash after to help with that...  The best kind I got was a box from my dentist that was a year supply for $50 but they no longer carry them :(
• If you check out the Crest website, it will explain the difference in them. I think it may be some are supposed to work quicker. And with the new ones that are pricey, I think they are supposed to stick better which allow you to do more things with them on?! I believe I usually just get the classic.

• Hey, Amazon apparently has some of these white strips that qualify for a coupon and are $13 or something pretty cheap. Here's the link to the thread that will tell you how to get the deal:

I'm not sure how long this deal will be there, but I hope it helps!

Here's a snippet from a dentist's review on Amazon, clarifying a little bit about the different types of Crest Whitestrips:
Crest White Strips come in 4 different packages, each a bit different than the others. The main difference is in the strength of the hydrogen peroxide, and the price. The higher the dose of hydrogen peroxide, the most costly the product package. Here are the 4 packages: 1. Crest White Strips Classic (6% hydrogen peroxide, 14-day treatment). 2. Crest White Strips Premium (10% hydrogen peroxide, 7-day treatment). 3. Crest White Strips Premium Plus (10% hydrogen peroxide, and has 12 additional strips). 4. Crest White Strips Renewal (9.5% hydrogen peroxide). The cheapest method (at around 25 dollars, is the Crest Classic Whitestrips, but it takes 2 weeks to complete the treatment). Premium and Premium Pro are both 10% peroxide formulations, work in 7-10 days, and the "Premuim-Plus" gives you 12 additional strips. I am not sure why Crest recently came out with "Renewal", as it is a 9.5% hydrogen peroxide formulation which is not significantly different from the 10% concentration. Leave it to the manufacturer to confuse the consumer!

I recommend starting with with either the Classic or the Premium-Pro. The Classic works in 2 weeks and is about $1.80 a day. The Premium Pro works in 10 days and is about $2 dollars a day. The Premium and Premium Pro are likely to give you more sensitivity than the Classic.
• Thank you for asking this question!  I was thinking about doing the Zoom, but thanks to Natalie I will go with one of the Crest strips!  (Thanks Natalie for saving me the pain and cash!!)
• I swear by Crest white strips. I've always used them and they work very well! I buy the ones that are the premium plus I think.
