Help! :)

Last night, I tried on my dress for the first time since April! I've gained 18lbs since April so I wasn't surprised my dress didn't fit. (I've lost 8lbs since I started working out) My issue is my heels are too high. I can see my shoes and i dont like it. I need to find some cute flats. Do you know of any good websites?

Try DSW. Thats where I got my flats, and they're inexpensive. They also just started a "wedding shop" which has even more wedding specific styles.

  • Endless.com has the biggest selection that I know of, but 6pm.com has lots, too.  Do you know what you're looking for in particular?  I was only ever planning on wearing flats and since my feet are so narrow and hard to fit, I'm buying actual ballet shoes that come in narrow and have more arch support and embellishing them myself.  Oh, and you can check out bridalshoes.com, too.  Someone posted about them on the attire board and they had some cute styles and purses, too.

  • I bought my flats at Burlington Coat Factory, but I've also bought cute ones from Target, Payless, and Wal-Mart before. I think that you'll just need to look around, other than that I would say DSW, Zappos, Endless, like PP's have said.

  • So I have some slightly different advice for you.  If you continue to lose some weight your dress may fit better and may actually end up being ok length wise depending on what style it is.  My dress was too long when I first tried it on but it is too big on top and will need to be altered so it will sit higher up on me which will make the length shorter.  I hope that makes sense.

Are you uncomfortable in your shoes or will they sink in to the ground?  Or is it just bugging you that they show out from under your dress?  PP have mentioned some gret sites for shoes.  If I were in that situation, I'd probably buy some flats just in case but keep my heels as well.

    Good luck!

This.  I have to agree with this.  Wait another month or 2 before you completely for go your heels.
