Help - out of town nestie needs downtown Philly hair salon recommendations!

My brother is getting married next month in Philly.  We are staying in Center City and I need to find a reasonably priced place to do a simple up-do for the wedding.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

    I would ask to see Alyshea or Susan at the Jay Michael Salon at the Phoenix.  They have done my hair for 100 weddings and are professional and really good!

    I use Salon L'Etoile, but that's in Manayunk, and would prob be about a 20 dollar taxi ride....

    Hi!  I HIGHLY recommend Romina Baca at SignaCurl Hair Salon!!!  She has done my hair for several special occasions. Romina takes the time to ask what you do and do not want. She's not one of those pushy stylists who makes you do what they think you should do.  The salon is very downtown.  It is on 18th, right off of Chestnut.  The address is 116 South 19th St Philadelphia, PA 19103 and the phone number is 215.567.1456.  The prices are very fair.  It is also an awesome looking place. There is art and glasswork all over the whole salon so you don't get bored while you're getting your hair done !  I know that I personally will have Romina do my hair for my wedding and other formal occasions forever!
