DIY Woah moment

Ok, so Kimmy's post got me to thinking, so I went on my planning bio and made a complete list of everything DIY so far (clicky), including what is started/in the process/completed and just had the 'woah look at all I'm doing myself' moment... 

Anyone hit the point of being momentarily overwhelmed recently? Lol

We're not doing a lot (or any) DIY, except for putting together the invites, but FI had a woah, we're almost 2 months out moment as soon as we hit 2012.  I think it's more real for him.

I'm starting to wonder looking at that list Kimmy if I should be doing the same... either that or cracking down and getting some stuff done asap

Thankfully, we aren't doing too many and I'm not starting till the summer but I assume I will still feel overwhelemed even then, haha!

So far I'm not DIYing a ton yet since we haven't made real plans for the AHR.  But I had a woah moment now that it's 1/13 and we're getting married on 4/13.  I have to get details nailed down pronto!

I kinda had something like that the other day. I was making a list of everything we needed to bring for the wedding and then I realized everything on my list was DIY stuff. I haven't bought anything wedding-wise that I haven't put work into.

Thanks Faith I know I can do them, they just seem like a lot when all in one spot like that hahaha

That is some list Britt!  I am sure glad I am eloping.  That is too much for me!  You on the other hand seem to be able to handle it.  Are there some things you can cross off like Kimmy did and not feel like they are missing?

Going to feel things out, see how much I get done in the next couple months, and then start doing the crossing off thing I think lol 

I am trying to get the stuff I consider 'most important' out of the way first

Sad thing is I have already taken a couple off with buying the bowls instead of making ring bearer pillows and stuff like that

Seriously, cut some! You will be glad you did. Plus, it will also be less to pack. I know you are driving, but even a vehicle will only hold so much.
