I'm just trying to think of the traveling logistics for my family and friends to our tentative weekend wedding. My theory is if they are coming all this way to see us, I want to spend time with them - hence a weekend event, not just one day.
I don't know - is it too much of people to fly 3+ hours, then rent a car and drive another 3 hours to our location? I mean they are going to have the start at the crack of dawn if they want to get to our Friday shindig (actual wedding on Saturday). The last event is the Sunday brunch. Might be hard for someone to get a flight after the brunch. Some family are making it a longer vacation, others might not want spend so much $.
Is this asking too much? This "weekend wedding" I am not sure can be done in an actual weekend travel wise.
I asked my sisters and they said, "Yeah that is asking a bit much."
I'm wondering if I should pick somewhere closer to an actual airport. People are going to have to ask off work. Kids might miss school if we do it after school starts.
Feeling torn...
