Freaking out some.....Wedding band update

I cancelled my other wedding ring today.  The one that I've had so many problems with.  I just couldn't see that being my ring now.  And it really wasn't what I thought it would be.  I'm sure you guys remember all the drama with what happened.  Wrong ring, then right ring wrong size.  So I said I was just done with it. I mean it's been 5 months and still no ring.  And the wedding is in FIVE weeks!

I just placed the order for my new ring.  AHHHHHHHHH!  It will be here Wed.  I'm freaking out a little bit.  I really hope it looks good.  It's hard to order something sight unseen.

I was thinking about this after your comment, so thanks for the update   I just didn't get a chance to comment earlier because I had to get some rent posted!

I really like the new ring, I hope everything works out fine with this one and no issues with the last week!    At least they are saying it'll be here Wednesday (right?)  So god forbid something bad happened, you do still have a little time...

I love it! I think it is beautiful and very classic. I am sure once you receive it and wear it with your ring it will look gorgeous!

I keep stressing out about the wedding band that I picked out too but I think in the long run it should look great. I think by canceling the other one you are doing the right thing..it seems like with all the issues you had with it and if you weren't in love with it then this one is hopefully the one! Definitely post a pic when your receive it!

I'm sorry for all the drama you went through just to end up canceling the order. That really stinks. Vibes so that this new band will get here weds and so that you love it even more than tje first one.

Good for you!  I told FI if we haven't heard anything else about ours by Wednesday that I'M going in to ask about it.  Your new one looks exactly like mine so I might have to ask where you ordered it if I get kicked out of the jewelry store. ha

Thanks ladies!  I actually ordered this one from the same place my ering came from.  So I am no longer dealing with Diamonds Direct.  I would not recommend the Raleigh store.

I think this will be much better.  Blue Nile keeps smaller stock sizes so they had a 3.5 in stock.  And they are offering free next day delivery if ordered by 6pm today.  

I'm having it sent to my office so Wed should be interesting.

I'm so glad you made this choice! I would totally take all that drama as a sign that the first one just wasn't meant to be. No one should have to go through all that for their wedding band, and I think you made the right decision. Can't wait for it to get to you!

I've had similar drama with my wedding band process. I finally found a place that will custom make one for me so I can stop with all the disappointment.

I think it's funny you say this.  We actually picked out a diamond there, FI paid the deposit on it had the ring made, we went to look at it, but then FI decided to cancel it because of the price, and I guess he wasn't ready.  I wasn't happy with the sales guy we had, way too pushy for my liking.  I had a friend/past resident that had an AMAZING experience there (I believe they followed through and got both wedding bands there too).

We later went to someone who does it on the side that works at the same company as FMIL who got us more ring for less money...So my long rant was, I'm glad to see someone else wasn't crazy with Diamonds Direct!
