Boarding Pass Invitations

Hi girls,
I"ve been looking into invitation ideas and I really like the boarding pass style. My fiance and I would like to do luggage tag save the dates, boarding pass invites, and postcard RSVP's. I've read a bunch of articles about them being easy enough to make yourself, so I asked one of my friends to help me because we found out they would cost around $500-$600 if I paid someone to do them.

What was your experience like making these? The first concern I have is how/where do you print them. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!

I did boarding pass invitations!  I have directions (courtesy of fabulous knottie venus) and lots of pics in my bio (under both DIY Projects and All Things Paper).  Here is one of the pics!  Link is in my Siggy!

Thanks for posting the link to your bio!  I have been struggling with the envelopes for my boarding passes and the templates made it so easy!!!

I did STD boarding passes and they took some time, but they were easy and we got great feedback!

Oh these are super cute! I'm not crafty but I have a crafty coworker who I bet would do this for me for a reasonable amount! I was thinking about skipping invitations (weird I know but the plan is immediate family only) but think these are great!

Great feedback!! For those that already completed them, did you go somewhere to print them or did you print at home with a regular printer?

It is all in the instructions but for the actual invitations I was able to print them at home. For the sleeve the paper was too thick so I had to do it at my work computer.  I know that you can take them to kinkos and they will print them for you!

I know I'm late on this thread and all the ladies gave great advice already...but I also have pics of my Boarding Pass STDs in my BIO.

Thanks Sam for posting the instructions I wrote up   I should probably put those in my bio too...lol..I printed all mine on my works laser jet printer and cut them at home with a rotary paper cutter.
