Just booked our photographer!!! (and various other checks)

SO excited about this! We just put our deposit down on the photographer I really wanted. He takes great pics and is already in the area (Riviera Maya). But what I love most is his detailed coffee table books. Here's an example of his previous work:

I was going back & forth between him and another slightly less expensive photographer. But once I really thought about it, a great photographer was always #1 on my list and I didn't want to compromise and regret it later on in life. And I'm already happy that we went ahead & booked him

Oh and my dress is in!! The guys suits just arrived (a nice tan color), the girl's bridesmaids dresses have been ordered, and the majority of our guests have booked

We did the same thing when it came to photogs, we were wavering between the one we LOVED and the slightly less expensive option. We also made the same choice that you did, that we didn't want to compromise, this was the largest chunk of our budget for anyone one thing, so we got the one we loved... let me tell you, when it came time for Engagement photos we were NOT disappointed... They were amazing to work with, the pictures were fun, they were interested in what we liked and, if its possible, I think they were more excited about our wedding than we are lol

Yay for your checks. My photographer was included in my package but then there was an upgrade to a different photographer who will drop of the CD of pics at my hotel in Hawaii before we leave, I didn't even think twice, I booked him right away. The only thing is I didn't see his work yet.

That’s awesome!! Great checks! Photography is also super important to me because it’s what you’ll look back on in 20 years to remember the details of your special day.
