NWR - E-reader

So I'm thinking about splurging and getting an e-reader.  I've been lusting over them, but I have no idea which one to get.  I'm leaning towards a kindle.

Anyone have one?  Love it?  Hate it?  Should I stick to books?  How much are books on the e-readers?

LOVE my Kindle. Book prices range from free to about $16 (the most expensive I've purchased). I hated the idea of an ereader, but FI bougt it for me for my birthday. It's amazing.

If you get a kindle, you have to download my sister's book. :) I'm pretty proud of her. She's 19 and she wrote & published a book.

I'm partial to books, but I'm kinda old school. There's nothing like feeling the pages on your fingers... smelling the print on the book... See, I told you I'm weird. :)

Bean - Ah so getting it made you a believer!  I feel like once I get it I'll be like how did I ever survive without it!

Paprika - My mom is an avid reader.  She probably reads 3 books/ week.  I have books she's given me to read stashed ALL over my apt.  It's rediculous.  So I think it'll be nice to have it all in one place.  Also I travel a lot (mainly to NC) and it'll be nice to just grab the ereader, instead  of 3-5 books incase I finish one and I don't know what I want to read next.

I'm not against them... Actually, let me check with my sister. My mom got her one for graduation, and she's used it once. I know she was gonna try to sell it. It's a nook... I'll find out tonight how much she wants for it if you're interested.

I'm a Kindle lover, but I know people who have Nooks and adore them too. I think whichever you end up with, you will be happy.

Bought my dad a kindle for Christmas and he loves it. He did a lot of research before deciding which he wanted and found the kindle best fit his needs.

I have a nook... and I love it.  My mom has a Kindle, but after playing with both, I prefer the nook.  In fact, I'm the only nook user in my family.  My mom, brother, and sister all have Kindles.
Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.

I got a Nook for my BFs mother for Christmas. I did alot of research before choosing the Nook compared to the Kindle. Nook just seemed to have better reviews generally and you can still read outside if its sunny because it has a built in glare reducer screen thingie. Anyhow, she loves it and feels its very user friendly. But either way you go, hope you enjoy it!
