has anyone out there recently had a beach ceremony in pr, or is anyone about to have one? We were all set to go, ( $800 permit), and our wedding planner informed us that the laws have chained there. Now we're required to fork over a cashier check for $1600 made out to the secretary of treasury as a refundable deposit against damage, and we have to get insurance for the beach, which will be at least another $300. but they will cash the $1600, and then refund it after they inspect the property. WTF.
Has anyone else experienced this, or had a beach wedding in pr? We are supposed to be at the El San Juan... But we'll see.
