Azul Sensatori

I am having a destination wedding and my Wedding Planner raves about the Azul Sensatori resort in Riviera Maya mexico.  Has anyone been there or know anything about it? By looking at the website I am not that impressed and the reviews are mixed.  Any information would help.  Thanks!

When we were choosing resorts, I got a pamphlet for that resort and I thought it was beautiful and amazing - but it was way out of our budget.

I'm actually getting married at the Azul Beach Plaza in April.  We picked it because it was smaller than the Sentatori and in part from the reviews on Trip Advisor.  HOWEVER, I have only heard amazing things about people that have gotten married there (and apparently there is one guy who had some odd ax to grind with the resort, so he's behind a lot of the recent reviews).  It is also my understanding that the stateside wedding planners that you have to deal with are a little difficult, but once you get there, the onsite coordinators are amazing.  I would suggest checking out bestdestinationweddings.com forums - there is a thread for the Senatori that can answer lots of the resort-specific questions.

But come back here too - the women on this board are amazing!

We were married at El Dorado Royale and that is a sister property of the Azuls and we cannot rave enough about the experience and trust me I am about as fussy as it gets. Everything went perfect and the TA we used Nancy from www.myislandgetaways.com made everything run so smoootly and was our total saviour.
