Let's talk veils.

Ok, what kind of veil is everyone getting and what made you pick it? When did you purchase your veil?My dress is strapless with some embroidery on the bodice. The dress is chapel length and I am in love with this mantilla lace cathedral length veil I found online. I know that the mantilla veil is normally used on simple dresses or dresses with lace..but I don't care. It's not too lacy, so I don't think it will over-power the dress. My wedding is in March and I am not sure if it's too soon to buy it.

    I love mantilla lace too, I think its such a gorgeous veil that it doesn't matter what dress you pair it with. I love the way the mantilla veil looks from the back as the bride is walking down the aisle. I have't picked one yet but I know I am going for that look but maybe with smaller lace detail so its not too overpowering.

    Mine is a family heirloom. It has 3 rows of swarovski crystal on the clip and 2 layers of veil that come to my elbows...on the edge is hand-sewn swarovski crystal....GORGEOUS. :-)Can't mention my dress, FI might read this, lol.

    I decided on a bird cage veil with a flower in my hair.  I was really in love with the mantilla lace veil as well, but when I tried one on, it just didn't feel right.  And I didn't really like any of the other veils I tried on.  When I got the bird cage veil, it was perfect. :)
