What to do with the kiddies...

Hey ladies,I'm trying to put together some activity bags/ favors for the kids who will be attending.  Would love suggestions and/ or to see what you guys did/ are doing.  We will have 8 kids under 5 and 5 between 9-12.TIA!

For the youngsters: Coloring books and crayons, paper with stickers, maybe some kind of Playdoh activity set, some toy cars and small dolls, some simple puzzles. For the older kids: If there's a separate room with a TV available (unlikely, I know), maybe set up a gaming system, yours or a borrowed one, with some games. You can rent some at Blockbuster. Otherwise, travel versions of card and board games are good (Sorry, Uno, Monopoly, etc.)

I don't have a picture but since ours was on the beach we did sand pails, a sand tool (sifter, rake, scoop etc.), a coloring book, 8 pack of crayons, beach ball, pez, and a bottle of bubbles. For the older kids we did the same thing since most had younger siblings but had word searched and a pen instead. We then put celophane (sp?) around them and tied them with raffia and a thank you tag with their names on it.
