Any recs for lighting companies in the Sacramento Area?and any opinions on the vendors would be fabulous!

You should try paging Lilleybug - she has a company she recommends all the time. I cant remember the name..

I recommend Elle Music. Their cost was a lot lower (by a few thousand) than a few other lighting vendors I've spoken to. http://elle-music.com

Hi Elle- and co. They are wonderful. I have had such a great experience with them. email me and I will send you the quote I received. They are charging a $250 travel fee to Sacramento, but their prices were the best I had found. I saved thousands going with thema nd I feel as if their work will be just as good as if I had gone else where. Got Light is also good, but charges double.

Our DJ, Sonny at Exquisite Events & Entertainment, provided ours.  I know they definitely provide lighting alone as a service, and I LOOOOVED how it turned out (I'm pretty sure you've seen my blog pics ).  Sonny is also awesome to work with!!Good luck!!!

I am interested in lighting but I don't know how it will fit into my budget. What is the usual cost of lighting? Like the basic colored uplights and then a gobo on the dancefloor? I e-mailed for quotes but they didn't say anything. I just want a ballpark range to look out for.
