How much alcohol to buy?

We are able to purchase and use our own alcohol.  I was thinking beer, wine, and maybe a cocktail.  We are expecting 50-75 guests.  Any guesstimations of how much beer and wine I will need to purchase?

I'd also consider your guests, the types of drinkers they are, and the time of your reception. If you have an earlier afternoon reception, you probably won't need as much, but if you have an evening reception you will need to calculate for more drinks.
