Seating arrangements make me want to cry

...seriously this is THE.HARDEST.PART! There is no way to make everyone happy or split up some groups (not couples, but groups of friends). I just can't seem to get it all perfect. Uggh!!

    I agree- and if you are brave enough to get any family input, they get so into it- all the emotions that go with it are out of control.  Good luck!

    I feel your pain. I made the mistake of asking people who/where they wanted to sit. It made it way more complicated than if I hadn't asked for input.

    Eeeek, I am not looking forward to that... But it sounds like you have already figured out that you can't make everyone happy. So just do the best you can, and distract the unhappy ones with good food and plenty of booze  ;)

    I am having fun with it for the most part. I have decided if they hate who they are sitting next to, they are more likely to get up and dance, right??

    Right- if they are not happy, then they will mingle.  Like I tell all the parties involved, nobody will die- they will all live and it's not the end of the world!
