The Cakery or Kathy's Kreative Kakes?

Hey all! My catering comes with a cake from either Kathy's Kreative Kakes in San Mateo or The Cakery in Burlingame. Any of you have any experience with either of these bakeries?TIA! :)

    Well both of them look pretty hit or miss on yelp... but averaged to a 4 star... so you're probably better going with The Cakery because it looks like they have a better design team from the pictures.

    jackel, that's what i was thinking too. the design we want is very simple, just fondant, so i feel some of their talent might be wasted on me. but that one review for the cakery with frozen cake freaked me out. im all for ice cream cake, but...  lol.

    I saw that! How about meeting with both of them and discussing the issues you've seen on reviews! You might LOVE one of them and not click with the other... just a suggestion.

    This is a silly reason for going with The Cakery.  I know nothing of their cakes, but I'd go with them b/c who names a bakery whose initials are KKK?
