What did you do with your veil??

What are you married ladies doing with your veil? I'm contemplating selling it. What are your thoughts? TIA! :)

Mine is with my dress...maybe I'm a silly sentimental sap but I feel like it's something that really might be worn someday by my daughters or nieces or my little cousin...a dress? Probably not. But a veil I could see. I'm suuuuuper attached to my veil. But if you're not, maybe some other lucky lady will get a deal :) GL!

I'm with Stef...I'm totally attached to my veil and can't see giving it up.  I hope maybe my sisters or daughters or someone will wear it!  It will be preserved with my dress when I get around to doing that!

Maybe I will feel differently about this after my wedding, but for a while now I've wanted to sell the dress and veil after we go married. I just don't see the point in keeping them - they'll take up space, I'll never wear them again, I don't have sisters, and I just don't see my future daughter(s), if I even have any, wanting to wear my dress/veil after a few decades.I'm all for recycling and letting someone else enjoy the dress and veil - they really are gorgeous and great quality, and whoever would buy them would get a much better deal on them from me than from a bridal salon. However, FI is sentimental and doesn't want me to sell. So I figure I will hold on to this stuff for a while and see how he feels about it a few months or a year after the wedding...

I'm like you, sm23. When I was planning, I was planning on for sure selling my dress and veil, because like you said, they would just take up space and the chances of them being used again by family or friends are slim.Buuuuuut, now looking at my wedding pics (over and over again!), I'm starting to get sentimental about them. So, I think I'll just make the decision later on down the road. :)

I had chapel length veil with a blusher. The bottom got ripped, so there was no way I could sell it. I gave it to my sister who cut it down and used the blusher part for my niece when she made her 1st communion.
