We went to Palace Resort (Aventura Spa) in Cancun, all inclusive, 18 and over, hour outside of Cancun. Loved every minute!!

We are pretty non-traditional...The Poconos in Pennsylvania for a week, followed by 5 days in Washington D.C. My FH is a history major and has never been to the East Coast, so we decided to do a more sight-seeing sort of honeymoon. We are not sit on the beach in the sun sort of people at all. I am pretty excited about our trip! We will be in D.C on the 4th of July, should be pretty awesome!

We went to two eco resorts... Morgan's Rock in Nicaragua and Lapa Rios in Costa Rica. Morgan's Rock kicked some serious BUTT! It was AWESOME!

Thanks for your responses everyone! :)stephmwood - What resort in Fiji?Roni.Cedra - We had actually found Lapa Rios during our search and thought it looked awesome!!!  We weren't so sure about the beach situation though - what is their beach like, and how far away is it?  And I'd love to hear more about Morgan's Rock!  What were your favorite things about it?  And what is the beach like?  (obviously we have a certain idea of what we're looking for, hehe...)

We went to Fiji...the Westin. It was kinda dirty (not the hotel, the country) and it rained most of the time we were there, which is bizarre because it's their summer. There's also no tipping in Fiji, making the service non-existent. Which, I should mention, drove me up the wall. But, it was nice to be in a tropical setting and get away for 8 days.

We're going to Tahiti (Intercontinental), Moorea (Sofitel), and Bora Bora (Intercontinental Thalasso) for a total of 10 nights. I can't wait!!!

We're taking off the entire month of December and heading to New Zealand right after the wedding.  I've been wanting to go since I was a little girl and can't think of a better time for it, or person to go with!We actually just booked a beautiful place to stay for Christmas on the South Island, I can't wait!

We were booked to go to Sun Palace in Cancun and The Royal in Playa del Carmen for 8 nights... but my fiance refused to get his passport because he didn't want to go to Mexico.So we switched to Oahu. We're getting married in October so hurricane season freaked me out a bit. If we were getting married at another time we would have gone to the Caribbean.
