Slightly stressing.  My date to receive RSVP's is October 1st.  To date I have only received 8.  Is this normal?

    Yes and No. We recieved a lot of RSVPs initially but there were a lot of people that we had to push to send them in. I'm still working on a few and our date is Sept 30th.

    Depends on when you sent them out and how many people you invited....I recieved a bunch about 5 days after I sent them out..

    A lot of people are probably putting theirs in the mail within the next week. I wouldn't stress, however you'll probably have to call the straglers.

    Really depends on your group... We had about 60% of our RSVP's by the RSVP date - then a bunch of people actually emailed or sent theirs in THAT day, so we got a bunch more the day or two after. Then there were a few who were just a-holes and never sent theirs in, so we contacted them by phone and email and got answers that way.It will never cease to amaze me how clueless people are about responding to an invitation. So annoying.
