Help - Cute Shoes for Golf Course

I'm hoping others can help me out with this.  I will be getting married out on a golf course and it's been recommended that I can only wear wedge shoes - I'm not  a big fan of them and would like to find a nice shoe that I can wear without sinking into the grass.  Ceremony is outside - reception is in a ballroom.  What have others done?  TIA!

I can't be of much help to you, but just wanted to let you know that I am in the exact same situation!  Ceremony on golf course, indoor reception, not a big fan of wedges (plus I'm looking for a low heel since FI is not much taller than me).  Shoes have me totally stumped right now.  I, too, look forward to any suggestions that anyone has!

I wore these for my farm reception.

They were very comfy.  I was able to dance the night away.

Don't forget that your shoes and dress need to coordinate as far as lenghts go.

If you don't like wedges, how about a chunkier heel.  At least then you are less likely to sink in.  I am not a big fan of wedges either, but they have some skinnier wedges if they are lower heels i.e. something like this...

I aggree with the chunkier heal, or just wearing a fancier flip flop/strappy sandal for the ceremony. You can always get a different pair of shoes for the reception that have a higher heal. Our wedding was on grass, and I know that a lot of my BM sunk into the grass with skinnier heals, but I was perfectly fine because I had on gold strappy sandals. Then had different shoes for the reception. Worked like a charm. HTH

I had my ceremony on grass and an indoor reception, as well as a fi/dh that is only a few inches taller than me. I went with a slightly chunkier heel and had no problems with the grass at all.

There is also a product that I looked into that you could slip onto your heels for the ceremony and then take them off for the reception. I have never seen them in person though. http://prettypinktoes.co.uk/cleanheels.aspx
