Weekend plans

What are you guys up to this weekend? I'm posting this early becuase today is my weekend! Yay!

I'm off work in two and a half hours. FI gets out of class in about three. So we're meeting at home, packing and driving to Roseville to stay with my parents for the weekend.

Tomorrow we're doing E-pics down town. Yay!

Saturday is a meeting at our bakery for our design and tasting choices.
Then we have a detail appointment with our venue after that.

Sunday I might have a friend come over and play with my make up and see what I like, or if I love what she does I might ask her if she'll do it for me.

Then Rivercats game! A friend of ours is throwing out the first pitch I heard, so we get a party box thing. :)

    YAY! Have fun taking your Epics and please post pics if you can! =) Happy weekend to you!!

    I'm basically going to finish moving out our old apartment and sorting things around our new house. I am also begin training for my job tomorrow so I'm pretty sure I'll be practicing over the weekend. I hope that a movie night will be thrown somewhere this weekend cause there are some movies I wanna see!

    What a fun weekend!  I love going to RC games.

    We're picking out tuxes tomorrow.  And I have bunco tomorrow night.  FI is going to the RC game friday night.  and a giant yard sale event thing (community yard sale?) in folsom early saturday morning.

    Sounds like a fun weekend!

    This is my first truly free weekend - I'm done with school and I'm gonna get my Masters!  Everything's approved!

    To celebrate...

    Friday is dinner at Gordon Biersch and a trip to Pier 39 to buy some earrings from my favorite jewelry store (grad present from FI)

    Saturday is the start of my "Great Mall Vacation".  We hang out at the Great Mall in Milpitas, play (and drink) at Dave & Busters, and then head over to the hotel nearby to crash.

    Sunday is a party at my friend's house.  He and his GF call it their Annual April Party.

    Wow CONGRATS on getting your Master's puokgirl!!! What did you get it in? That is so awesome, I plan on applying to grad school this year =) Any tips? lol

    cdomanta - Thanks!  It's in Library and Information Science.  Without any library experience, this degree qualifies me to be a librarian.  But because I've been a manager for the past 2 years, it opens up a lot more doors for me.

    The best tip I can give is to look for a program that's flexible.  My program was at San Jose State.  When I started, I had the option of taking classes online, in person, or a combo of the two.  But by the end of the program, everything switched to online as a cost savings measure.

    I also had the option of writing a Thesis or an e-Portfolio.  It's the same amount of writing either way, but writing a thesis now prepares you for writing a doctoral thesis while an e-Portfolio can be used when you apply for jobs.

    The only other tip I can give is to stay disciplined and organized.  It cuts down on stress and frees up more time to do fun stuff.
