Cake in East Bay? Help!!!

Ladies- I am in need of any recommendations for a cake vendor in the concord/walnut creek/san ramon area. I am planning everything from Louisiana and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you tried yelp? or asking your venue for a recommendation? That is how we found our baker.

I've had good experiences with Alpine Bakery in Concord.  I had them custom make a baby shower cake for me last year (a two tier with red velvet and chocolate cake).  My office gets the monthly b-day cakes from there as well and they're always good.

Try Katrina Rozelle in Alamo. Very famous for their cakes and they can deliver to anywhere in the bay.

I am using Bev Tanaka. Seriously best tasting cake ever... and the best deal going. http://www.cakecreationsbybev.com/ She books up far in advance, but at $4 dollars per a person she is a really good deal.
