really thinking of just eloping or a very small wedding

Does anyone know of some places like Big Sur

Something that may overlook the ocean...

I am becoming stressed with wedding planning and I am thinking of cancelling what we have come up with and just having at most 15 of our closest friends and family there.

I wouldn't want anything expensive... maybe like $1500 at most for the ceremony portion...

    For ocean spots- try Half Moon Bay. Google Half Moon Bay destination weddings. You can have weddings on the beach, and hire someone to marry you for very reasonable prices. Then there are lots of restaurants around to go to as well.

    There is always Lake Tahoe, they have tons of spots for small weddings.

    You can also try Monterey, Carmel or someplace like Cambria on the shore.
