SO I just started looking into DJs and I have sticker shock. I had NO idea that it was such a pricey thing. Most of the DJs I have looked at cost more than my photographer. Crazy. Anyone good sacramento DJs that dont cost an arm and a leg?

Dan Doyle with Platinum Entertainment Group is amazing! He is not in sac, but does trave. He is doing our wedding for 6 hours plus slideshow for under 1000.

Not sure what your budget is, but we LOVED Dominic of Extreme Production DJ's.  They were really willing to work with our budget, too.

We have booked our wedding with Last Resort DJ out of Reno, NV - they are willing to travel (so unless your wedding is during snow season - you'd be good.)  They are extremely inexpensive and have great personalities.  I'm super excited for them to do our wedding (we're paying $550 for 4 hours with uplighting).

We are using Clay Bates, he doesnt have a website currently, he does it more on the side but its $150 an hour and he's been doing it for a long time. He's really cool and professional. We found him through a co-worker. His number is 209-712-5892. Good luck!
