Any super casual weddings out there?

So I am not super girlie, I love planning parties and events, but I just don't want the formal, sit in a hotel "typical" wedding.  I loved the ones that other people have had, but its just not me.
So how casual is too casual?  We are super casual, fun couple, who love country and being outdoors.  I am thinking that I want to let our guests know if they want to come in sundresses and wranglers!
I'm planning on wearing a nice dress, but boots or sandels, want my girls to wear jean skirts and cute plaid tops.

One of the former interns at work had a casual-ish wedding.  Part of it was for budget reasons, but she also just wanted to make sure that everyone was comfortable.  I don't remember where she got married.  I do remember that she said she had her reception in a park.  She described it as kind of like a BBQ, but with nicer food.  She encouraged everyone to dress like they would for a nice BBQ.  She wore a simple dress, and her FI wore a suit.

i LOVE this idea, actually.  i'm not traditional either - so i'm def going for a more casual event as well.  a great site that i've been looking at is 100 Layer Cake.  it has TONS of inspiration and photos of all diff kinds of weddings - mostly in CA.  and all of them are pretty unique.

    check it out!  http://100layercake.com/blog/
