Wedding at hans Fahden

Hi there -Is anyone considering hans fahden? or been to a wedding here?

I'm thinking of having mine there but have a few concerns.
I originally wanted a place with an awesome view, of vinyards and mountains for me and because my guests are all from out of town.
The day we visited, it was freezing and raining and i think i just cant seem to remember, but i dont remember any mountains or vinyards? just a garden.
I have seen 40+ venues, and im worried, and want to pick the right place.

We are going to have about 80 guests and im concerned that the patio area is too small and the deck for cocktails? Anyone have experience with this?

In addition, the cave looks pretty tight and i'd like to be able to walk around to greet my guest during dinner. is this going to be possible?

Lastly were you allowed to the vinyard site? I'd love to get married there.

We also want to have an indian wedding ceremony and i havent seen one photograph of an indian ceremony, which is rare?

I guess im just confused.  Its the right price and offers indoor and outdoor, and im just looking for advice or comments if you have been here.

Thanks soo much ,

Re: Wedding at hans Fahden

  • Hi! We're getting married at Hans Fahden this June with around 120 guests. I think that the venue will be perfect with that many people, my only concern would be the ceremony space...it's a little intimate. If you were to use long tables in the wine cave, walking around during dinner would be hard, however, we are going to be using the circular tables provided. I think it allows for so much more space. As far as the cocktail hour goes, the teahouse combined with the outdoor patio area seems to be plenty of space for everyone. Message me if you have any questions-good luck! Finding the right venue can be really stressful!
  • Oh and yes, you can go to the vineyard for photos, etc. It's beautiful!
