Trying to find a venue

I have a 10k budget for approximately 50-70 people.... trying to get ideas where we can have an all-in-one wedding (ceremony, reception, caterers, dj, etc etc) to make it a little easier... (and perhaps less expensive)

    I believe the Vizcaya can fit your budget. You can have your ceremony outside and move the reception inside. I would check it out. They are very reasonable.

    Try the wedgewood facillities. They have them all over the bay area, just google them.

    One thing to be aware of with the Wedgewood facilities is that they have a minimum person and minimum price that you have to meet.  The minimum guest count (including WP) is 50, and the minimum price depends on the date/time you choose. 

    I'm getting married at the one in San Ramon, and for my date the minimum cost was $3,000.  I chose my date because the minimums were the least of all the days offered.  My total budget is $7,000, not counting rings or honeymoon.

    Hi ya'll...

    Im in Sacramento area.  We may have found a place... Oak Leigh Gardens. They price it by how many people you have. There is no service charge, corkage fees, bartender fee is only $115. I think the price was like $2900 for 84-94 people... then you just bring in a caterer and DJ and such.  Our budget is 10k.  I already have the funds sitting in the bank and all...  just shopping around for everything.

    Its a nice little place that has an indoor and outdoor area to do the ceremony, and also the reception.

    Not too shabby.... we're supposed to check it out in a couple of weeks, after my planner has her baby.
