I haven't been posting on here much lately b/c I've been keeping very busy (only 58 days to go! wow time flies!), but I just wanted to recommend my calligrapher to you all - Etsy seller 2inspire.
She did a fantastic job addressing our invitations, they look absolutely beautiful! And at a low price, only $1.15 per envelope! The few other calligraphers in SF I talked to were charging $3/invite, definitely out of my budget. She has a nice, elegant, modern handwriting style (not your traditional calligraphy). Also, she was willing to work with us and help us create a stamp that we were able to use for the return address and for the RSVP envelopes address.
She is also great because she is in the Bay Area, which for all of us speeds up the processing time - no mail delays trying to send the envelopes across the country or anything like that. She'll meet you in the city; or, even if you do need to mail the envelopes (like for you Sac folks), she would probably receive them a day later because she's not across the country. Turnaround time was a huge plus for me because I was a slacker about finding a calligrapher, and it came down to crunch time where every day mattered. She even got the envelopes to us faster than her standard processing time just so we could get our invites out on time!
I'm usually not one to rant or rave about vendors, but I was very pleased with her work and her service and just wanted to share in case any of you ladies were looking for a calligrapher!
