Sac Area Venues

Hi All,

I am helping a my future daughter in law with her wedding plans and thought that y'all could definitely help me.  She is looking for venues for wedding/reception in the sac area for May 2011, indoor and/or outdoor place, winery, garden wedding would be preferred depending on cost.  Looking at approx 110 guests.  Trying to do this on a small budget, so if anyone knows of any places, please let me know!!  THanks so much!!!!!

the capital rose gardens are free for weddings you just have to reserve them...then have the reception nearby in one of the many hotels or lodges

micke grove japanese garden and memorial auditorium is nice for a small budget but its in lodi. I would also check out some of the golf courses in your area. the timber creek ballroom is also budget friendly

As already mentioned, Capitol Park is a great FREE place to have a ceremony, and McKinley Park Rose Garden is also very nice.  Many restaurants in the area have private rooms you can reserve for a reception, with many of the restaurants not charging extra fees above the food and service.

La Provence in Roseville is a great location (restaurant), where you can host both the ceremony and reception.

morgan creek country club is cute. it's orignially where our wedding was going to be until we decided on a winter wedding. it has a cute outdoor ceremony space and a reception space right behind it.

Another option is Oak Leigh Wedding Garden.  It's in Orangevale/Fair Oaks.  Google it - I think it sounds like what you're looking for - and they are a pretty reasonable all -inclusive type place.  The garden is gorgeous and there is also a chapel and indoor/outdoor reception areas.  Good luck!

You should check out Scribner Bend Vineyards. They are located off HWY 160 just outside of the town of Freeport. I am getting married there this coming May and have known another couple who got married there.
      Check them out!
