Lake Tahoe Wedding/Reception Packages (inexpensive)

I am trying to find places in Lake Tahoe to get married. My fiancee and I both LOVE this place, and can't think of anywhere else to get hitched. I would love to have some kind of wedding outside in the redwoods or something, but with a whole package so that I don't have to really do too much myself.

We don't have a lot of money, and would love something that is around 2-4000 dollars.

Thank you so much! Happy New Year!

Try posting this on your local board, being from NY myself I can't really help you too much. LOL You can find your local by clicking the "Local Wedding Boards" to the left of your screen and find yours. GL

I would try the hotels. Especially on the North Shore where it's about the skiing and not the gambling. I have been to a lot of Tahoe weddings and it's really hard to do it without it looking like a shotgun wedding, imo.

My sister got married at Gar Woods, ceremony was on the grass facing the lake and reception was inside - served lunch instead of dinner and saved on the package.

Strelitzia Flower Company in Davis did the flowers.  You can contact them, ask for Jill, she has pictures of the flowers.

    Good luck :)

There is a florist website that has a beautiful Tahoe site.  I don't know how much the site costs but it would be worth asking.  If you contact the florist she can give you the information on the site.  If you want to see pictures of the site they are on www.aspecialdaydesigns.com click on "enter site" "wedding flowers" click on the little down arrow and scroll down to "real weddings" and it is the pictures of Beckies wedding.  You can alsways email her and ask for the site information for Beckies wedding as well.  I hope this helps
