Reception Entrance Song

I know there's already been a couple threads about this, but I'm too lazy to search through the board! :P

I really want something that is energetic and fun, but FI doesn't really like hip hop music.  I'm thinking something like "Bring 'em out" by TI for the bridal party, but he's not too happy with that choice.

Give me some ideas ladies!!

Re: Reception Entrance Song

  • We are almost 100% set on Raise Your Glass by Pink for us and probably the wedding party, too since we have only 3 on each side.

  • We're debating between two options:

    1) Caro Emerald's That Man for the BP and a more jazzy verision of Steppin Out with my Baby for us or

    2) Using Caro Emerald's That Man for both the BP and us but just turning it up a little louder when we come in.

  • The parents/bridal party will be entering to Ray Parker Jr. - Ghostbusters and we will be entering to Led Zeppelin- Immigrant song

  • All of us are entering to Brian Setzer Orchestra's "Spies in the Night", the James Bond Theme. But we're dorky that way.

  • We are doing AC/DC Thunderstruck
  • I googled fun wedding reception entrance songs.  It was pretty much the same list over and over.  Here are some ideas for you:

  • We're using Coldplay's Every Teardrop is a Waterfal for us.

I'm letting the bridal party pick the songs that they're coming out to.  So far, MOH and BM are coming out to DMB's Ants Marching, my mom is coming out to Black Eyed Pea's "I Got A Feelin"

  • We're doing the same song for everyone. Since we're getting married in Vegas, we wanted something lighthearted and fun. So we went with "Marry You" by Bruno Mars. It's fun, and upbeat with lyrics that are almost made for Vegas.

  • We don't have a bridal party, but our family will be coming out to "Another One Bites The Dust" Queen (My dad and fiance have great senses of humors). We will be coming out to "Crazy in Love" Beyonce, it had the most epic entrance/level of love that we were looking for.

  • We are using "all you need is love" by the beatles for us and not sure yet for our wedding party, something fun though.

  • We're not sure about the BP or our parents yet, but I think we're going to use Charlie Brown by Coldplay. The song is VERY quiet at the beginning, so we thought that would be perfect for the intro and we can "burst" into the room the same time the song takes off. I just hope we get the timing right! :)
  • Well most of our music is country with a little rock mixed in, but we chose "This Is Our Time" by Kenny Chesney (it was a theme song for college football a couple years ago).  We were thinking of 'Back In Black' or "Rock N' Roll Train" by AC/DC

  • The Bridal Party is entering to Get Ready For This, complete with spirit fingers and pelvic thrusts (ala Bring It On).

My fiance and I will be introduced to Pride & Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughn. Laughing
