This is probably going to sound SO unorganized- but bear with me.
The problem: I can't decide on colors.
This is why. My FI is a Marine, but doesn't care one or another if he wears his Dress Blues. One part of me really wants to incorporate that part of our lives into the wedding. However, we are having a rustic more casual style wedding and the Dress Blues are the equivilent of a civilian tux.
I am wearing an all-lace dress.
Option 1: Dress Blues, rose dresses, gray suits.
Option 2: Khaki suit for FI, navy dresses, khaki pants/vests for the GM
Option 3: Dress blues, rose dresses, khaki vests/pants
And, option 4 (my least favorite) is just do Dress Blues for FI and one of his GM, tuxes for the other 2 GM, and rose dresses for the girls.
Basically my color options are
Rose/Gray
Rose/Navy/Khaki
Rose/Khaki (with or without black tuxes)
To give you an idea, our ceremony is in a tiny rustic chapel and reception is at our favorite VERY rustic BBQ spot banquet room. Burlap, lace, mason jars.
