For most of you who know what I do and that I just went through a go-live at my hospital with a new computer system. I just went through another go-live on Thursday for our hospital physicians, then one more in May for our hospital surgeons!! Ahhh... Sorry I am late in posting this. Its been a crazy week!!

I've been through the go lives before. My hospital did the initial back in Dec. 2010, but had a huge update a few months ago and it was a pain.

What did your hospital implement? We implemented Epic.

There is just so much to do and I feel horrible for the end users.

We went through the process of getting Epic over 2010 in our system.  I worked for the Foundation, so I didn't have to worry about it, but I remember all the headaches for the front-line staff.

can you go over one more time how to get something into your siggy? I still can't even the timelines to appear but at somepoint I'd like to figure this one out.

Mine implemented Epic back in 2009, but they recently updated it and it was more complex and a pain in the butt. Takes time getting used to it and also how much time is spent on the computer.
