Got a couple little checks done in the past few days. Check 1)FI and I went to the Men's Wearhouse and bought the ties the GM will wear. I want them in long ties to help bring down how formal the tuxes look but the ties that I like aren't available to rent. Didn't matter, Men's Wearhouse is (through tomorrow) having a BOGO on ties and accessories. We got all three they had in stock and ordered one. 4 ties for $40, sounds good to me.
Check 2) For a long time I said I didn't want any kind of headpiece. I'm trying to stay away from the whole "Princess Bride". So I did decide that I want something in my hair to add some sparkle but not really princess-y. I found this (

link). It's technically a headband but I may see if my stylist can angle it just a little so it's kind of tiara-ish. Nice part is that when I sent that pic to my sister (getting married on May 5th) she said something about if she were going to have a headpiece, she'd pick that one. I asked if she wanted to use it and she told me that she didn't want to use somethng of mine before I get a chance to. After a little bit of good natured arguing I convinced her to use it. It'll be her something borrowed. Getting our money's worth out of an item, awesome. She offered to give me half of what I paid. I told her I'll likely sell it on the classifieds board so it's not necessary.
Check 3) My shoes came
(pic)! FI doesn't want to see any of my outfit so that's the only pic I have of them so far. I may convince my mom to get a side pic like lepoissonrouge did but that won't be until tomorrow.
