So our wedding party was originally 3 bridesmaids on my side and 1 groomsman on his side. He finally made up with his best friend so now he's up to two on his side which I'm happy about because I knew he would regret not having him there. Then he was talking to one of his old high school friends who was trying to talk FI into making him another groomsman, which I find a bit ridiculous but fine they've been friends forever so ok fine. But then this friend was trying to talk FI into adding this other high school friend of theirs as a groomsman. Now FI and this other guy did used to be very close but all FI does is complain what a flake this other guy is. And the few times this other friend has come to visit he's expected us to pay for absolutely everything from dining out to groceries and all his beer which I found utterly dissrespectful to us, we have bills and a mortgage to pay, he lives at home! He's invited to the wedding but that is it! And then this friend on the phone tells FI he should invite this other high school friend to the wedding which FI is now considering. This other friend FI has said that they're not even friends they just hung out together back then because they had common friends. And previously before this conversation, FI specifically said he had no interest in inviting this last person, WTF!! Soooooooooooooooooo annoyed!
