Huge checks! But...

This weekend/week, FI and I were super productive.  We picked a honeymoon location (although haven't booked yet, doing it next week), ordered Save the Dates, booked our cake bakery, our florist, and FINALLY our photographer!

Now I need to let the other photographers know we went with someone else.  None of them were bad, but we just completely loved the woman we ultimately chose.  What do I say?

You're not required to say anything, but it will keep you from getting those "just checking in" phone calls and e-mails. You could say somthing like:

Dear Photographer,

While we enjoyed meeting with/talking to you we have since booked our photography servces. We appreciate your time and wish you all the best with your business.

Agreed with PP.  Give them the courtesy of letting them know you selected someone else.  Just let them know you enjoyed meeting with them, but have selected another vendor.

Agreed that it is not necessary.  I would send them a quick email if you have their address.   I am sure they are used to getting 'rejected'.
