Stress Relief-Post your pets!

I think we all need some stress relief (or at least half of us still do lol). Since we haven't done this in a while, post pics of your furbabies.

This is Odin (aka munchkin, goober, brat etc) our 4-year old tabby.

  • This is my kitty, Sloan (answers to Butterlicker, SassyPants, Kitteh Bey-Bey).
SAdly, I'm not taking her with me when I move out:(

This is my fiance's dog Scout (also known as Scoot and Scoutington).  She is comign with my fiance when we move in together.

    Here are our furbabies!

This is Methos. He just just over a year old and answers to Meat, MeMan, Feetsy and Meatsy. He plays fetch just like a puppy.

This is Rollins, FI's dog he has had since college. He's a rott/lab/shepard mix.  He is a doll, but is also "Daddy's Dog".  Sometimes I think he's still waiting for me to go away.  He loves his kitty brother, though.  :)

  • This is our mischevious 9 month old King Shepard/Husky Zorro
a couple photos when he was younger and our most recent MUD adventure... lol

  • Here is Noel - she's my baby and she is so loving and sweet.  She's our tubby kitty cuz she's got a big ol' belly.

Then we have Tulip and she doesn't really like anyone.  She's starting to let me pet her and I even picked her up for like 5 seconds the other day before she freaked out.  This is a huge improvement because she wouldn't even come out for the first 2 months we had her.  She still doesn't like FI though. lol

This picture makes me laugh! She was having such a good stretch, hahaha!

The other love of my life, Boswell. He is a 6 year old chocolate lab. I love this dog like he is my child!! I'm actually sad to go on my honeymoon because I'll miss him too much!

Here's our cat Oreo as a kitten 10 years ago (he was so cute and tiny!):

    This is him now:

You can't really tell from these pictures, but he has an all white belly and white mittens on al his paws.  His cutest asset is his off-center white triangle on his nose.  He tends to sleep a lot, usually right next to my lap if I'm on the couch. FI was not a cat person at all, but when we moved in together, I brought my family's cat (Oreo) with me.  FI has since warmed up to cats and loves playing with Oreo (especially if it involves riling him up).

ETA: He responds to buddy, mr. buddy, double stuff (my brother's name for him), or opening the drawer where his treats are stored.  He has jumped into the drawer in the past if we've made him wait too long for the treat.
  • Yay!! I love our furry ones...

This is Duke.  He is 2 1/2.

This is Jackson, when he was about 8 months old.  He will be a year old on Halloween!!

And this beauty is the queen of the house.  Chevelle and she's 6 years old.

    and just to be fun:

FI's always saying I'm a squirrel and his nickname is bear.  When I searched google for pictures, I found this... it's too perfect..

  • Erica, I love Tuxedo kitties. I had one in HS. FI doesn't want any black cats though so I probably won't get to have another one. Maybe my future daughter (that doesn't exist yet) will talk her daddy into getting a black kitty.

  • It's only unlucky if the cat is all black CFM!  I love black and white cats, but realistically, I think they're all super adorable.   My only sadness with Oreo is that he isn't declawed, so he has wrecked some of our furniture (mainly our couch), but it's a sectional so we can rotate it to hide the scratched up parts.  It does suck when he decides in the middle of snuggling that he wants to be frisky and starts scratching.  I've had to be careful in the past month to not get any scratches - I don't want scratched up hands or arms in my wedding pictures!

<div>Lol, I think I'm drawn to black kitties because of the superstition around them.  My parents have a black barn cat name Merlyn. When we (I was still living there) first got her and her brother we thought she was a boy. The brother was gray with a white shield on his chest so we named them Arthur and Merlin. When "Merlin" had kittens we changed the spelling so it was a little more feminine. </div>

<div>Haha, that's awesome!!  I'm sad more people aren't posting their pets!  I'll just leave this here (FI wants a pug so bad, so most of the internet memes I find are of pugs):</div><div><a href="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/images/store/11/15/0b875c67-35ac-4411-af4f-107cfc4c0df2.large.jpg" title="Click to view a larger photo" class="PhotoLink"><img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/images/store/11/15/0b875c67-35ac-4411-af4f-107cfc4c0df2.medium.jpg" alt="" /></a></div><div>I'm pretty sure my cat would make that face if we put a bunch of treats on the table.  I may have to test this tonight. :)</div>
